Lectura Montessori School was acquired by Ms. Lorena Kopacz in Summer of 2023. She realized the opportunities this school had with the right team in place. Within six months of operation Ms. Lorena Kopacz doubled the staff, added a kitchen for in house cooking, and took the school capacity from 35 children to 82 children. We serve children as young as 6 week to five years of age.
Located on the border of Berwyn and Oak Park we have been able to bring in a diverse community within the school. This allows our children to experience and understand the diversities in our communities.
Our staff works hard with our children to get them prepared for kindergarten. We take pride in the projects we do, the curriculum we support, and the hands-on experiences we give to the kids. Our staff and children are growing together. It’s a learning experience for all of us.

We’ve had a wonderful experience with Lectura, and the teachers have helped our infant reach significant milestones in his development. We also love the bilingual curriculum and that our little one is getting exposed to another language at an early age.
